Shark Tank India ended its first season yesterday, inspiring dreams along with some hilarious memes. The show certainly left a discernable impact on audiences, and undoubtedly changed the way the general public viewed entrepreneurship as a profession in the country. So it comes as no surprise that after the show, hosted by Rannvijay Singha, aired its finale, Twitter had viewers wanting to share their opinion about the popular series.

Users’ reactions revealed just how the show had become an important part of their lives just with its maiden season, with viewers talking about how much they adored the series. While some pointed to the show’s impact in helping develop a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship in the country, others shared how much the show meant to them personally.

And of course when a show as stirring as that ends, fans would undoubtedly miss it and start wondering when it will return.

Many shared how they became motivated to chase after their own business dreams after watching the show, and one even revealed how it helped dispel some misconceptions their family had about a career in business.

The finale also witnessed one of the most special pitches on the show till date, made by one of the sharks themselves, Peyush Bansal. Bansal, who founded Lenskart in 2010, turned that clock back to a decade before and pitched the idea for his eyewear retail chain to the other sharks, leading to some amusing reactions. Many Twitter users talked about how much admiration and respect they had for Bansal, with one even saying that the businessman’s vision for India was ‘phenomenal’.

In addition to Bansal, the show also featured Ashneer Grover,Aman Gupta,Anupam Mittal,Ghazal Alagh,Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh as judges/investors.
