The business reality show was judged by Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Ghazal Alagh, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar
Shark Tank India is one of the recent successful reality shows, which led to several dinner table talks. The show is popular not just for helping several entrepreneurs with investments but also for some blunt responses by the sharks or investors, especially Ashneer Grover , co-founder of BharatPe. Grover is known for his straightforward discussion, which is often construed as 'rude'.
One of the entrepreneurs who had to hear quite a mouthful from Grover was the Sippline founder. During his pitch, Grover and also Aman Gupta interrupted and said a 'no' immediately. While Grover was being his usual self and was telling the founder that his product is so bad that he wishes for death, Aman is seen laughing out loud, mocking the founder. Grover asked if his product was a joke and if he were drunk. He said about the founder's glass flask that it is a product that no one would want to make again and asked how did he even come up with the idea. "Ye sabse waahiyat product hai. Itna ganda product hai ke iske baad main kuch aur nahi dekhna chahta life mein. Isse pehle bhagwan utha le mujhe," he said in Hindi.
The founder of Sippline, Rohit Warrier seems to have taken these comments and all the mocking personally. In a recent video, he is seen sarcastically targeting Aman and Ashneer. He says, "Is weekend ka 'waahiyat' sawal yeh hai ke ye ear piece kis ka hai, headphone kis ka hai?" He further called his boAt headphone, a 'Made in China' product. He continued saying he is a fan of boAt and started his career with the company. He learned the importance of innovation and the value of IP from boAt. He also said he wears spectacles that he bought from Lenskart.
