Anupam Mittal, who is currently a Shark on Shark Tank India season 3, was asked why isn’t he a part of Marvel movies. It is to be noted that Anupam was an aspiring actor and has worked in Bollywood as well, before sticking to production and being an entrepreneur. Anupam is the founder and CEO of the popular matrimonial site, Shaadi.com.
Anupam asked why isn’t he working in Marvel movies
Probably seeing how many Indian actors, right from Farhan Akhtar to Mohan Kapur, have been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a fan asked Anupam Mittal why is he also not trying his luck with Marvel films. The user left the comment on Anupam’s Instagram post. It read, “Anupam sir Marvel ki picture mein kaam karlo.”

Anupam’s reply
Anupam Mittal went with the classic to reply to the user. He wrote, “They can’t afford me.” He is currently invested in Shark Tank India 3 and his business ventures, to think about acting at this given point of time.
Anupam, the aspiring actor
Like many, Anupam Mittal also dreamed of becoming an actor and even tried his luck in movies. Back in 2003, Anupam was seen in the movie Flavors. Six years later, in 2009, he was also a part of 99. Both the movies were directed by his close friends Raj & DK (who are currently The Family Man and Farzi famed directors and are working on Citadel India with Varun Dhawan-Samantha). Not striking luck in his acting career, Anupam switched to producing movies. He did so for a while and then found success in Shaadi.com, following which he became a Shark on Shark Tank India. In order to promote his show, Anupam also made appearances on Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kapil Sharma’s The Kapil Sharma Show. He holds MBA in Operations and Strategic Management degree.
