Entrepreneurial hopefuls will be able to pitch their businesses on the show to a panel of seasoned investors and business professionals known as "The Sharks." The platform will very soon reveal the brand-new sharks for this season. Sony LIV will soon announce the premiere date of Shark Tank India 3.
Aman Gupta's insights on the impact of Shark Tank India on boAt
Meanwhile, Aman Gupta said at the Walmart Converge event last week that personally, he finds it flattering when others recognise him and request a photo opportunity. When Shark Tank airs, there is so much free advertising for boAt that they cease investing in marketing for around three months.
Gupta's remarks come as some founders of smaller firms who have pitched on the show have said that sharks (investors) have just exploited the show or platform to develop a personal reputation and to sell their own startups rather than honouring commitments as promised.
Superhit show since the beginning
Memes based on investor Ashneer Grover's offbeat one-liners helped propel the show to viral fame after the first season was broadcast on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from December 20, 2021, to February 4, 2022. Rannvijay Singh Singha served as the season's host. From January 2, 2023, through March 10, 2023, the second season of Shark Tank India was broadcast on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television.
