Aman Gupta is among the investors in Shark Tank India.
On Wednesday, the 23rd edition of FICCI Frames opened in Mumbai, and Shark Tank India star and Boat founder Aman Gupta was there to kick things off.
In an interview with ANI, Aman said he was pleased with the public's growing interest in business-focused television. He said that this is a fantastic improvement, in his opinion. Adults spend more time viewing business shows than "Saas Bahu" serials, while kids no longer watch cartoons. Therefore, it is both entertaining and educational, and the country could not have picked a better time to host the show. In today's modern India, consumers need high-tech products. If it weren't for this show, many viewers would likely have given up on television altogether. Business reality shows like Shark Tank have become a staple of the 9 p.m. viewing audience.
Aman also said that it's great when the whole family can sit down together and enjoy this show.
As shown on the popular Indian reality show Shark Tank India hopeful business owners pitch their wares to a group of investors (the show's "sharks"), who ultimately select whether or not to invest in the companies based on the strength and viability of the products and services on offer.
On January 2 of this year, viewers of Shark Tank India were treated to the premiere of the show's second season. The format of Shark Tank was borrowed from the successful American version of the same name. The premiere aired in December 2021.
Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Namita Thapar all appeared on the hit show.
On this show, entrepreneurs pitch their business or product ideas to a panel of possible investors (the "Sharks"). These self-made billionaires evaluate each contestant's company plan and product pitch before deciding whether to invest or provide marketing assistance and guidance. Rannvijay Singha hosted the first season, but comedian Rahul Dua took over for the second.
