How the men’s relationship with each change after Gireesh’s wedding to Anupama form the plot of this film.

Sharafudheen’s movie, which also has Anagha, Aju Varghese and Baiju Santosh in pivotal roles, is rated PG13 in the UAE. Shafi, in an earlier interview with OTTplay, had said that though the film deals with alcoholism, it doesn’t glorify the addiction and there’s a social message that the team has tried to deliver with the film.
“The story of this film was my main attraction to do it. It’s a small film compared to the ones I have done so far. It doesn’t have the loud comedy or drama that are usually associated with my films; this is more of a light-hearted tale. I felt there was something novel in the story when I first heard it,” said the filmmaker, who had previously helmed superhits such as Two Countries, Kalyanaraman and Chocolate.
Aanandham Paramaanandham’s OTT rights have been snapped up by Manorama Max. The film is expected to drop on the platform in a month.
