Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar starrer show Gullak Season 4 started streaming on July 7, 2024. Since its release, the show has been making headlines with all the positive reviews and feedback from the critics as well as the viewers. The fourth season of the show is currently streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. Not just this, the show also became among the top five shows on OTT originals for the week of May 31-June 6, according to Ormax Media.
Geetanjali Gulkarni's 'Gullak Ki Kahaani' is too cute to handle
As Gullak is about Kahaani (Stories), the makers have now shared a heartwarming video where Shanti Mishra aka Geetanjali Kulkarni shares her 'Gullak ki kahaani' and it will surely melt your hearts.
In the video, shared by SonyLIV and Geetanjali, she is seen saying, "Meri zindagi mein Gullak bahot mayne rakhta hai kyuki usne jo kisse hai woh meri zindagi se bahot milte julte hai. Toh main jab bachpan mein Gullak mein paise rakhti thi toh main bahot Sapna dekhti thi ki usne se kuch mere liye acchi si school bag ya cycle aisa kuch mujhe khareed ne ko mile lekin itne paise mujhe kabhi mile hi nahi. (In my life, the piggy bank (Gullak) holds a lot of significance because its stories closely resemble my own life. When I used to put money in the piggy bank as a child, I would dream a lot about buying something nice for myself, like a good school bag or a bicycle. However, I never managed to save enough money for those things.)
She further revealed how she reacted when Gullak was offered to her during the first season. She continued, "Isliye jab mujhe bataya first season ke samay ki Gullak hai series ka naam toh mai jhat se attract ho gayi kyuki Gullak mere liye bahot mayne rakhta tha bachpan mein." (So, when I was told during the first season that the series is named "Gullak," I was immediately attracted to it because the piggy bank meant a lot to me during my childhood.)
