Ever since the trailer of Hotstar's latest Telugu web series Shaitan was released, there has been a lot of unrest on social media about this web series. The trailer was showcased in a very brutal manner and one of the leads in the film, Deviyani mouthed some very harsh curse words which shocked one and all.

Harsh comments are coming out on social media that such shows should be banned. There is also a set of industry insiders who say that the web shows should also be censored before the release. But the most hate is being thrown at Deviyani who mouths these dialogues. She was praised for her role in Hotstar's Save The Tigers show and now she is seeing so much hate.

Looks like the actress has had enough and she made a video to clarify why she did this web series in the first place. In a calm tone, Deviyani explains that the society is filled with people from different walks of life and her character and where she comes from has a reason to speak like that and one will only get their answers when they watch the complete show.

Shaitan has created a lot of buzz in the film circles and everyone is waiting to see what the show has in store for the audience. Shaitan has been created by Mahi V Raghav, the popular Telugu director. The posters and the trailer which was released a few days back showcase a lot of blood-shed in them giving an idea that Sahitan will be one hell of an intense ride.

The gritty crime drama will stream from the 15th of this month.Shaitan series would be on the lines of Mirzapur and Pataal Lok with the naxal element as an important element. The show is about a gang that goes about killing people brutally. But there is a tragic backstory behind all this which will be showcased in an intense manner.
