On April 2, today, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn celebrates his 55th birthday. Scores of his social media fans have begun wishing him on his special day via their social media handles. Notably, 2024 is a special year for him. He has not one but four theatricals to look forward to namely Maidaan, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Singham Again, and Raid 2. Not only this but his recent theatrical – Shaitaan, which was released in March, earned over Rs 100 crores at the box office globally. Aamil Keeyan Khan pens a lengthy and heartfelt note to mark Ajay Devgn's 55th birthday. Sharing the note on microblogging site X, Khan wrote, “Happy birthday to the OG of swagger on screen Ajay Devgn. This is your year. The Maidaan’s all yours to shine. Auro mein koi dum nahin. May the Singham in you Raid and smash all the box office records. Tod Fod. Aapko toh Shaitaan bhi Dua mein yaad rakhta hai.”
What is special about Shaitaan?
According to reports, a sequel to the film Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan, is in the pipeline. Sources informed Hindustan Times that an official announcement for the sequel is expected soon. Shaitaan's sequel will be announced within days. Ajay and the director, Vikas Bahl, are happy with the film's reception and are optimistic about the sequel," the source stated. It is also noted that filming could start within a few months, following the finalization of the cast. The original cast members will probably return for the sequel.

Shaitaan, for those who don’t know, is a supernatural horror thriller and a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash.
