Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are reuniting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s forthcoming production, set to release in December 2025.

After sharing an update about their upcoming film, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri have finally made the official announcement. Sajid Nadiadwala will produce Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming directorial, which the actors are collaborating on. The makers also confirmed the rest of the cast, including Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda.
Release date and production details
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment's official social media pages announced that an extraordinary cinematic adventure will begin on January 6, 2025, and the movie will premiere on December 5, 2025.
Based on the collaboration, we expect the untitled film to provide fans the perfect amount of amusement.
Shahid Kapoor's tease for the upcoming role
On Tuesday, Kapoor hinted at his upcoming film with Bhardwaj by sharing a selfie on his Instagram story and stating that it's time to prepare. Could he accomplish something in the future that he hasn't done before, like becoming lost in the forest? That's the question the protagonist of the next film must answer. However, being innovative requires a certain level of vulnerability. The actor added that Deva was mysterious and frightening, but yet kind and innocent. The actor is still unfamiliar with this new character. However, it is a delight to rediscover what is within.
Kapoor also hinted that he is sliding into the nefarious, edgy gangster '90s.
Triptii Dimri's excitement for the project
On the other hand, Dimri shared the notepad provided to her by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and wrote, "New beginnings."
Earlier, a source informed Pinkvilla about the project, revealing that a Mumbai studio is building a massive set to realize the film's concept. The plan is to build it on a grand scale; therefore, more than 500 people are working on it. The premise of the film takes place in the post-independence underworld, and the makers are intent on recreating that atmosphere in Mumbai.
We are sure that fans can't wait to see the big-screen reunion of Kapoor and Bhardwaj after Kaminey Haider, and Rangoon.
