It's being reported that Ranveer Singh is set to feature in the third instalment of Don.
With a note shared on social media, Farhan Akhtar confirmed Shah Rukh Khan's exit from Don 3. The filmmaker-actor hinted that Ranveer Singh will be taking forward the hit franchise that became iconic back in 1978 with the Amitabh Bachchan-starring Don. Now, a tweet from SRK from 2013 has gone viral, in which the superstar is talking about making 10 more sequels to the film.
The tweet read, "Thanx Farhan, Ritesh, PC, Lara, Nawab, and my man Boman for one of the finest filmmaking experiences I ever had. I hope we all make 10 sequels to Don! (sic)"
Shah Rukh tweeted on the occasion of two years since Don 2's release, thanking the makers, Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani. He also thanked his co-stars, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lara Dutta, Nawab Shah, and Boman Irani.

The entire nation has been eagerly anticipating the third installment of the blockbuster film, which was already known to be in production. Now Farhan has announced that there will be a fresh interpretation of the well-known anti-hero.
It has been virtually a matter of national worry who will be taking the torch ahead, as every decade has seen a new leap into action and adventure with a reinvented version of the beloved series. It is safe to say that, over the years, the most illustrious and adaptable actors in the industry have always played Don. Shah Rukh Khan was able to segue from his lover boy character into the part of this charismatic villain in his legendary depiction of Don, whereas Mr. Bachchan was known for his 'angry young man' image.
Now that hints are making the rounds that Ranveer is the successor of Big B and SRK, fans can only wait patiently until 2025 to see how it unfolds. The announcement video for the third installment was unveiled on Tuesday, along with the Don theme.
