Sanjeeta Bhattacharya has worked on OTT. Then she went to Mumbai to audition for films. But she had no idea that she was giving an audition to work with King Khan. Sanjeeta recently spoke about her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan.

Sanjeeta said, “I did not know about the project while auditioning. When I came to know the story and the cast, my joy knew no bounds. I cried loudly and said yes to all the questions I was asked. I was thrilled to know that I would work in a film like Jawan. I knew that the film would be watched by millions.”

Sanjeeta also said, “I can learn and prepare myself while working with such mature actors. I keenly observe them while working. What I got from Jawan is priceless. Those who worked in the film are talented, humorous, and big-hearted. These wonderful people now are the close ones in my life and I can call them friends. I am really grateful.”

She talked about Shah Rukh. “I never thought in my dream that I would sing, dance and drink coffee with SRK. I felt that I was living a dream. He was careful about everyone's comfort in the set. Once he came to know that I am a music artist, he presented me with a guitar and a microphone,” she said.

Jawan is directed by Atlee Kumar and stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra, among others. It will be released on September 7.
