Mumbai Police revealed a new information regarding Shah Rukh Khan death threat case.

Amid the continuous death threats to Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat call, as per Mumbai Police. Police traced the call to Chhattisgarh and questioned a man named Faizan Khan. They also said the call was received using Faizan's phone. However, during interrogation, he claimed that his phone was stolen on November 2. Now, in a new development, Mumbai Police officials mentioned that Rs 50 lakh was demanded from the superstar.
ANI reported that Mumbai Police mentioned that the call was placed at Bandra Police Station itself. Rs 50 Lakh was demanded and a life threat to Shah Rukh Khan was made if the payment was not made.

According to India Today TV, the caller threatened to harm Shah Rukh Khan if he did not pay Rs 50 lakh. When questioned about his identity and whereabouts, he told the police to call him 'Hindustani'. The call came at 1:20 pm on November 5.
The police officials are also investigating whether it was a false call or the call was linked to any of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang members.
Meanwhile, SRK received death threats in October last year, after which his security was upgraded to Y+ level. This ensures that he is accompanied by six armed personnel around the clock; Earlier, he was accompanied by two armed security personnel.
The Jawan star's threat comes days after Salman Khan received threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang targeting Salman for his alleged involvement in the killing of a blackbuck said the actor should either go to a temple and apologize for allegedly killing a blackbuck or pay Rs 5 crore instead.
On the professional front, SRK will be seen in King. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film also casts Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. The high-octane and action-packed drama is reportedly finalized for Eid 2026 release while the filming is set to begin in January 2025 in Mumbai.
"The first schedule of King commences in Mumbai in January, followed by a marathon schedule in Europe. The makers have conducted multiple rounds of scouting in Europe to identify fresh locations that will add scale to King. The film stars SRK in the titular role alongside Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan," revealed a source.
