The Yash Raj spy-thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has rightly instilled hope in the entertainment industry.
Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan broke all previous records at the box office. The Yash Raj spy thriller has rightfully given the entertainment industry optimism after a lengthy period of dryness in Hindi cinema, with the exception of few films like Brahmastra and Drishyam 2. Fans are still thrilled with Tiger Vs. Pathaan, another outstanding addition to the Yash Raj Spy Universe, even if the movie is dominating the box office. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will each be entitled to a 40% share of the movie's profits, according to recent sources.
According to the source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aditya Chopra have decided on the profit-sharing model. This is common and most stars today opt for this mode instead of charging fees upfront. But Tiger vs Pathaan is a unique case as both SRK and Salman will each get a 40% share in the profits.”
Yash Raj Films would receive a 20% profit share from the movie, the source added. Despite the fact that 20% may appear insufficient, considering the expected scale of the profits, it will still amount to a sizable sum of money. Let's not forget that only from the theatres, Pathaan has raked in more over Rs 1000 crores worldwide. A bigger hit will undoubtedly be Tiger vs. Pathaan. This implies that profits will also increase.
Another business insider commented on the portal development. They said, it's common practise for stars to want 60% or 70% of a film's gross earnings. Tiger vs. Pathaan is a special instance since two actors who are equally famous and well-liked have finally decided to collaborate on a project. The actors in recent two-hero movies have typically been unequal in terms of star power. Hence, the compensation was previously unbalanced. But in Tiger vs. Pathaan, both actors merit equal compensation. Furthermore, they are both enormous, so it should come as no surprise that they will grab the most of the income.
While the movie's premise is yet unknown, its title suggests it may focus on the intense battle between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the two biggest stars in India.
