The makers released the trailer today and it has taken the internet by storm. Mithali Raj has a record-breaking 23-year international cricket career. She has scored over 10,000 runs in one-day internationals. The film chronicles her rise to fame as a renowned cricketer and a role model for billions of girls and women throughout the world. The film is a tribute to the recently retired icon.

The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios. The story idea and the creative producer of the film is Ajit Andhare, while the screenplay is penned by Priya Sen. Amit Trivedi has composed the music, and the lyrics for the songs are penned by Swanand Kirkire, Kausar Munir, and Raghav M. Kumar. The film will be released on July 15, 2022, in theatres.
