Angamaly Diaries, the fifth film that Lijo Jose Pellissery directed, is still regarded as one of the director's best works to date. It offered him the widespread recognition he deserved and brought some talented young actors to the industry.

The main character of the critically acclaimed as well as commercial hit is Vincent Pepe, who, like his seniors, aspired to be the strong leader of a gang that controlled the city. Then there is the antagonistic clan that is associated with the evil gangsters of Angamaly, the setting for the movie. The movie is available to stream on Netflix. Compelling plot

Angamaly native Vincent Pepe and his friends formed a makeshift gang during middle school. Babuji and his aide Thomas led the best team in their area at the time, and they revered them as heroes. They exercise with them regularly and pay attention to their fighting and strategy advice. Nevertheless, when he unintentionally kills a member of the rival gang, his life takes an unexpected turn.
