Apple TV+ unveiled a new trailer of M Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller series Servant Season 3 recently. The series was renewed for a third season last year in December.
The new season will pick up three months after the end of Season 2, where things have started to appear normal for the Turner family. Everyone seems to have moved on with their lives, but the threat of the cult and visits from suspicious strangers remain a cause for worry.
"Leanne does everything she can to feel secure—ultimately causing more chaos for the Turner family. As Sean starts trusting in Leanne's power, Dorothy feels increasingly threatened and worries for Jericho’s safety. While the Turners struggle to keep their family whole, they must come to terms with the costs of Jericho’s return. Be careful what you wish for," states the official synopsis as mentioned in a press release.
Servant Season 3 will see Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint reprise their roles. Joining the cast in this instalment is Sunita Mani (Spirited, Mr. Robot, GLOW).
According to the press release, all ten episodes will be 30 minutes long, and the first episode will be released on Apple TV+ on January 21, 2022. New episodes will drop on a weekly basis every Friday from then on.
Shyamalan serves as executive producer along with Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black, Steve Tisch, Ashwin Rajan, and Taylor Latham. The directors on board are Shyamalan, Ishana Night Shyamalan, Carlo Mirabella-Davis, Dylan Holmes Williams, Celine Held and Logan George, Kitty Green, and Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala.
