Seenu Ramasamy unveils the first look of Ineya's female-centric action flick Coffee

The film's first look 

The shooting of debutant Sai Krishna's action film Coffee commenced three years ago. There were reports earlier that the female-centric movie, which has Ineya playing the protagonist, has her pulling off some daring action scenes. Shot in Chennai and Bengaluru, the story of the film revolves around her character who goes in search of her brother.

Rahul Dev will be seen essaying the antagonist's role in the film which also has his wife Mugdha Godse portraying a key role. Soundara Raja is another actor who has a meaty role to play in the movie which has been produced by Sarathy Suresh.

The makers have now revealed the project's first look poster through director Seenu Ramasamy's Twitter account. The filmmaker expressed happiness in unveiling the poster which has a bruised Ineya looking intense even as her hands are tied with a rope. A group of girls pleading for help can be seen in the backdrop of the poster.

The actress plays a cop in the movie in which she has performed action sequences choreographed by Don Ashok. A while ago, there were reports that Ineya luckily escaped from being hurt while shooting for a crucial sequence performed by a stunt double.

Coffee which was initially expected to hit the screens in 2019, has Venkatesh S handling cinematography and Prasanna Bala composing music. Mohan Rajan has written the songs for the film and Venkat Rajan has handled editing. Ineya, who was last seen in Tamil in Bharath's horror flick Pottu, has Colors, too, in her kitty. The movie has her sharing screen space with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
