Seenu Ramasamy goes gaga over Kamal Haasan's pro-active promotional activities for Vikram

As days keep passing, Kamal Haasan is setting the bar higher in Kollywood, when it comes to promoting films. Vikram, starring him in the titular role, is expected to have a huge release on June 3. The movie, which has been bankrolled by his banner Raaj Kamal Films International, marks his return to acting after almost four years.

Though the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya in a cameo, Kamal has been promoting the movie all alone. He has attended pre release events in Delhi, Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai and Malaysia. He is expected to land in Dubai and Hyderabad, too, for the promotional activities.

It is a known fact that leading Kollywood stars are often averse to promotions and pre release events. But it is true that despite their absence at such events, their films open to huge numbers at the box office. But Kamal, who has always been a trendsetter in Kollywood, decided not to follow the pack.

The kind of enthusiasm he has been displaying in all the promotional events are quite inspiring, and Tamil movie buffs unanimously agree that other stars should start following him in helping their movies reach people from other states.

Filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy is one among the many who went gaga over the Ulaganayagan's active participation in marketing the movie. He took to Twitter to post a few pictures of the veteran actor-filmmaker pro actively promoting the action film and wished him success.

Meanwhile, Seenu Ramasamy is ready with his film Maamanithan which will hit the screens on June 24. The long-delayed family drama has Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead. Billed as a family drama, it has Gayathrie, KPAC Lalitha and Guru Somasundaram essaying pivotal characters.
