We just can’t get enough of Bridgerton! The period drama, which is inspired by Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels, premiered on Netflix last year and has been a rage since then. With spin-offs, themed-events and fan theories, the show has caught the attention of young adult fans across the world. So, it’s little wonder that Secret Cinema, which specialises in immersive cinema experiences, has picked the series for its next live show.

“Dearest Readers, We are delighted to announce that the next #SecretCinema is none other than the delightful @NetflixUK original #Bridgerton. A scintillating #ImmersiveExperience, this ball is already the talk of the Ton!,” tweeted Secret Cinema, revealing that the booking for the UK show to be held in November will begin from July 6.

Talking about the show, its creative director Matt Costain told the Evening Standard, “From casting and costumes, to soundtrack and set design, Bridgerton has pushed boundaries and we’re excited to take this even further by bringing the scandalous world to life. This is an immersive experience that marries 1800s London with modern-day special effects, while characters from Bridgerton move freely through the world, interacting with guests.”

The show will revolve around a ballroom setting where guests will dance to a string quartet playing pop hits and other attractions of high society, according to the report. Costain further added that the team has created a ball that “will play out uniquely for each individual guest”.

The first season of the show focused on eight siblings of the Bridgerton family looking for love and happiness in London high society. It has Phoebe Dynevor, Jonathan Bailey, Julie Andrews and Claudia Jessia. Rege-Jean Page, who was one of the leads in the first season, will not be returning for the sophomore instalment.
