The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film Exit have released its second teaser. The film, directed by debutant Shaheen Mohammed, features Vishak Nair in the lead role. In the teaser, four young men are shown as confined for unexplained reasons in an enigmatic bungalow situated in a hilly area.

Vishak Nair portrays a frighteningly chained man in the teaser. At first glance, the promo teaser appears both unsettling and captivating. Exit is scheduled for a theatrical release in March; a trailer and additional information are anticipated in the next few days.

All about Exit

Vishak Nair allegedly portrays a man with cannibalistic tendencies who has been chained in an abandoned bungalow for more than 25 years. Fascinatingly, the movie is the first action survival movie in Malayalam cinema history, with a character that moves like an animal and has no dialogue.

Nevertheless, viewers who are accustomed to seeing Vishak Nair in cheerful roles like Kuppi in Anandham have undoubtedly become intrigued by his performance and the eerie set of the mysterious bungalow.

In an interview with OTTplay, Shaheen Mohammed, the director of Exit, gave the reason behind the decision to delay the film's theatrical release. He claimed that the producers' extensive efforts to address censorship concerns stemming from extremely violent scenes were the reason for the delay.

"We were told after watching the preview that there are some very violent scenes in the movie and that they should be fixed before it opens in theatres," he continued. Shaheen went on to say that while he did not deliberately make a violent film, the story needed to be realistic in order for it to make sense. The director of the picture also stated that the inspiration for the film came from some true stories he heard as a young child.

Cast and crew of Exit

Tamil actor Sree Raam, Big Boss fame Reneesha Rahiman, and Vaisakh Vijayan are appearing in prominent roles in the film. Venu Gopalakrishnan has bankrolled this movie. The screenplay for Exit has been penned by the director along with Anish Janaradhanan.
