Helmed by Hansal Mehta, Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story is a highly anticipated series on SonyLIV. The Tushar Hiranandani directorial stars Gagan Dev Riar in the titular role. Mehta, who launched Pratik Gandhi in his hit 2020 directorial Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story and made him the star he is today, spoke about Riar and mentioned that he wants the world to discover the artist.

In a recent conversation with Zoom, the Shahid director shared that he is just so happy that his upcoming creation is about to stream on OTT. "I can’t wait for the world to discover Gagan Dev Riar, who plays Abdul Karim Telgi,” he added.

The latest teaser video of Scam 2003: The Telgi Story has garnered immense praise from cinephiles. The official promo showcases how the Telgi Scam took place in 2003 and shook the world with its unimaginable fraud of fake currency. Riar, as Telgi, can be seen running a huge factory to print the fake currency note that made him an empire of Rs 30 thousand crore.

Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, which also has Mukesh Tiwari Bharat Jadhav and Sana Amin Sheikh in key roles, is all set to release on September 2 on SonyLIV.
