Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha – the real-life power couple – teamed up for Arnab Riingo Banerjee’s web series Milkshake Murders which will stream on Klikk.

Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha in Milkshake Murders
Television power couple Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha will team up for the first time in a web series, Milkshake Murders. Directed by Arnab Riingo Banerjee, the web series also features Saurav Das and Joey Debroy. The shooting was completed in January in Thailand and the show will be dropped in July.
Milkshake Murders delves into the life of a writer from Pattaya who takes a break to travel to Phi Phi Island. A series of events and murders take place when he meets another man associated with a publishing house.

Talking about the series, Neel said, “I’m grateful to our director Arnab Riingo Banerjee and Klikk for keeping faith in me and giving me the confidence to pull off such an important character. Working with close friends like Saurav, Joey, and Trina was incredible. The scale with which this production was mounted was magnificent with such extraordinary and pristine locales across the landscape of Thailand. I'm blessed to be a part of such an amazing series.”

Trina expressed her excitement about working with Neel on a web series for the first time. “There were so many ‘firsts’ for me to cherish. My first internationally shot web series, my first co-working with my better half Neel in a web series, and a very close friend like Sourav, and the first time in this look, that was curated for me. I loved the look and the kind of character, which I've never essayed before. In sum, this is one series audiences will truly savour, with its slick international look, intriguing plot twists, and amazing presentation. I'm very excitedly looking forward to the launch,” she said.
After her robust television career, Trina has worked on several web series, including Gobhit Joler Machh and Murder by the Sea. Meanwhile, Milkshake Murders was Neel's first web series to shoot. However, His first web series to be released is Boka Bakshote Bondi which will be released on June 21.
