Indian television actor Saumya Tandon is raising funds for her now-deceased co-star Deepesh Bhan's family in order to repay the home loan that he had taken out prior to his death.
It is indeed very noble of TV actor Saumya Tandon to raise funds for her deceased Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai co-star Deepesh Bhan's family to pay back a hefty home loan of 50 lakhs.
Recently, the actor took to her Instagram handle and launched a crowdfunding campaign to help late actor Deepesh Bhan’s family repay the loan. Dressed in simple white kurta, Saumya requested her followers to pay whatever they can and help the late actor's family to keep the house.
During her emotional appeal, she also recalled how Bhan was a "talkative person" and would talk about "home" on set. "Now, we can repay him by giving back his house to his son," she said in conclusion.
"Whatever amount is collected will be given to Deepesh's wife... Please contribute to makiing Deepesh's dream come true," she urged her fans.
Unfortunately, TV actor Deepesh Bhan died on July 23 of this year while playing cricket. In the hit series, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, he played the role of Malkhan.
According to reports that quoted actor Aasif Sheikh as saying that Deepesh went to the gym at around seven in the morning, before going to play cricket in his apartment complex in Mumbai's Dahisar area where he collapsed.
Several media outlets have claimed that the actor had suffered a brain haemorrhage. Deepesh Bhan is survived by his wife and a son who is only a little over one-year-old.
Upon hearing Deepesh Bhan's sudden passing, Saumya had earlier shared an emotional post. "... Can’t hear you laugh, or sing , and react to your PJs. You were a heart of gold. Miss you," Saumya captioned a picture of them together.
