Satyaprem Ki Katha box office collection Day 7: The Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer crosses ₹50 crore mark

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Ad vani's romantic musical SatyaPrem Ki Katha has completed its first week at the box office with a decent collection of ₹50.61 crore. The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, released on June 29 on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha and received positive reviews and word of mouth from the audience.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha tells the story of Satyaprem (Kartik) and Katha (Kiara), who fall in love at first sight but face several obstacles in their relationship. The film also features Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Sikha Talsania, Rajpal Yadav, Siddharth Randeria and Anuradha Patel in supporting roles.

The film opened with ₹9.25 crore on Thursday and witnessed a drop on Friday with ₹7 crore. However, it picked up over the weekend and collected ₹10.1 crore on Saturday and ₹12.15 crore on Sunday. The film saw a decline on Monday with ₹4.21 crore and continued to drop on Tuesday and Wednesday with ₹4.05 crore and ₹3.85 crore respectively.

The Kartik-Kiara film has surpassed ₹50 crore mark at the box office and is expected to recover more in the second week. However, it will face competition from Vidya Balan's thriller Neeyat, which releases on July 7.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha is the second film of Kartik and Kiara together after their blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which released in 2022 and earned ₹185 crore at the domestic box office. The duo has proved to be a hit pair with their chemistry and performance.
