Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's romantic drama SatyaPrem Ki Katha which released on June 29, has been doing well at the box office. The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, has received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike for its mature and sensitive portrayal of a social issue.
The film has earned Rs 60.81 crore net at the domestic box office within ten days of its theatrical run. The film saw a massive jump of 66% on its second Saturday, as it collected Rs 4.75 crore, which is more than double of what it earned on its second Friday, i.e. Rs 2.85 crore. The film is expected to witness a further growth on its second Sunday.
After Pathaan, Adipurush, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and Bholaa, Satyaprem Ki Katha has the sixth-highest opening of the year so far. The movie also represents Kartik and Kiara's second collaboration after their successful horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year.
The film revolves around SatyaPrem aka Sattu (Aaryan), who is a jobless man and hopes to get married to Katha (Advani), the daughter of a well-known businessman. However, their marriage faces some unexpected challenges due to a personal issue. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randeria, Supriya Pathak, Rajpal Yadav, and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.

The film's soundtrack has also been a hit with songs composed by different music directors such as Manan Bhardwaj, Meet Bros, Payal Dev, and Tanishq Bagchi. Aaj Ke Baad, Gujju Pataka, Naseeb Se, and Le Aaunga are some of the popular tracks from the album.
SatyaPrem Ki Katha is presented by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) in association with Namah Pictures. Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora have produced the film.
