After Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, actor Satyam Bhattacharya has his calendar full. He is juggling from one project to the other. The actor just returned from a long shooting schedule in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh for Birsa Dasgupta’s Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo in which Dev plays the sleuth. Satyam plays a pivotal character, Manilal, in the film. Now the actor is ready to work with Jeet in his upcoming film, Boomerang. Directed by Shouvik Kundu the film will also feature, Rukmini Maitra and Debchandrima Singha Roy.

An excited Satyam said, “I worked with Bumbada (Prosenjit Chatterjee) before in Nirontor and Aay Khuku Aay. Then I got a chance to work with Dev in Byomkesh and Durgo Rohosyo. Now I will work with Jeetda. I am looking forward to it.” In the film, he plays the character of Jeet’s friend.

This is the second time, Satyam will work with Souvik in his directorial work. “He is a sorted director and is very clear in his head. This is an out-and-out comedy and he knows what he wants,” he said.

In the film, Satyam will reunite with Shyamal Chakraborty after Ballabhpurer Roopkotha. Besides, there is Rajesh Sharma, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and others in this film. “Jeetda will be back in comedy that is something to look forward to,” the actor said. The shooting was scheduled to take place in London. However, the film will now go on the floors on July 1 and it will be shot at different locations in Kolkata.

This will be the first time, Satyam will pair up with Debchandrima. “While I don’t know her personally, I am looking forward to working with her,” he said.
