After releasing in Hindi on ZEE5, the Telugu version of Sarvam Shakthi Mayam is now streaming on aha
After making his feature debut with 47 Days, Pradeep Maddali made his OTT debut with Sarvam Shakthi Mayam, a spiritual drama, a 10-episode show that directly released on ZEE5 in Hindi. After its success in the Hindi version, the show was dubbed into Telugu and released on aha recently. BVS Ravi created the show starring Sanjay Suri, Priyamani, Samir Soni, Subbaraju in key roles.
With encouraging responses for the film on aha, Pradeep spoke to scribes recently. The Rajamundry-native took to films after completing his engineering and a five year stint with an IT firm. His career trajectory changed once he met Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannadh. After noticing his work in Puri’s team, BVS Ravi roped him in for his ambitious web show Sarvam Shakthi Mayam.
For the uninitiated, the 10-episode show is an exploration of religion and spirituality while dealing with the Shakti Peethas. While BVS Ravi and Pradeep interacted about a wide range of subjects, the latter was hooked to Sarvam Shakthi Mayam’s idea instantly. He came up with a script version of the show. An impressive BVS Ravi gave a green signal for the project.

While Hemanth Madhukar was to be an integral part of the team behind Sarvam Shakthi Mayam, Pradeep joined the project out of the blues. The show was shot just under 60 days. They completed a 20 day schedule starting from Orissa to Kashmir in peak summer sans any obstacle and Pradeep credits his producers Vijay, Ankith and Kaumudi for their relentless support.
Sarvam Shakthi Mayam was not a show commissioned by the OTT player. It started as an independent project, after which the makers approached OTTs. BVS Ravi and Sira Sri were instrumental with their research and inputs around the theme. Pradeep’s approach towards spirituality too kept changing with time, from his mother’s influence to his stint with Ram Gopal Varma, Puri Jagannath and BVS Ravi, before he eventually found out his own ‘truth’.
“While I was trying to make my debut project work, I embraced a spiritual path, practicing meditation, Kriya Yoga and Suddha Yoga and observed the energy behind them. We must also need an inner power, energy to accomplish tasks,” he opined. Unlike the thriller genre, he realises how a show like Sarvam Shakthi Mayam will take time to grow on audiences and he’s sure it’ll get its due.
He will be joining hands with Ram Talluri next for a web show to be produced under SRT Entertainment banner. An official announcement will be out soon.
