Parasuram has directed the masala entertainer which releases on May 12,
Mahesh Babu in the film
The much-awaited trailer of Sarkaru Vaari Paata has finally been released, leaving fans of Mahesh Babu elated. The two-and-a-half minute video has the Tollywood superstar unleash the massy avatar in him after a long time. He utters hilarious one-liners, takes on several goons stylishly, romances heroine (Keerthy Suresh) with ease, and issues warning to the antagonist (Samuthirakani) in his own inimitable style.
Mahesh plays an uptight money lender in the film directed by Parasuram. Going by the trailer, the character seems to be quite different from the 'do-gooder' roles he has been essaying for some time. The star also appears relaxed while rendering a few dialogues in a unique manner.
Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju among others play crucial characters in the movie which has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment Pvt Ltd and 14 Reels Plus. Thaman has composed music for the mass masala entertainer; the last time the duo teamed up was for Aagadu. Sarkaru Vaari Paata marks the duo's fourth film together.
Marthand K Venkatesh and R Madhi have handled editing and cinematography respectively for the project. Ram-Laxman duo has choreographed action scenes while AS Prakash has helmed art direction for the film.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is Mahesh's release after two-and-half years. Anil Ravipudi's Sarileru Neekevvaru (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was the star's previous outing. The initial plans of the makers were to release the film for Sankranthi festival, in January. Later, they had to postpone their plans due to the pandemic.
Though the team considered April for its theatrical release, they finally had to decide May 12 as the movie's release date. Though Sarileru Neekevvaru brought back the massy avatar of Mahesh after a while, it was released along with Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which went on to become a huge hit. This time around, it's a solo release, and fans of Mahesh are looking forward to nothing less than a sensational blockbuster.
