Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Mahesh Babu connected with the script so he decided to do the movie says director

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is one of the most-anticipated Telugu releases of the year. Director Parasuram has now opened up about how and why the superstar decided to do the movie.

Talking to IANS, the director said, “Mahesh Babu made it simple for me by giving me the opportunity to tell the story. He connected with the characters and thus chose this film," said director Parasuram, who added, "Once Mahesh has a firm grasp on the script, he gives it his all. In his approach, there are no half-measures."

The director also talked about his career, saying that he started off his directorial life well but after the failure of Sarocharu, he took a couple of years off. Parasuram reflects on this, saying that it did wonders for him.

Parasuram also talked about the story of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, saying that the movie is set in a bank backdrop, but does not talk about scandals, instead has multiple layers of emotions imbibed in the story. He added that it was his idea for Mahesh Babu’s makeover, saying that it needed to have a “wow factor”.

Expected to be an entertainer, the movie will have enough action, romance, comedy and drama to keep the audience engaged. The trailer for the movie is set to be launched today.

Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus, the movie also features Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in crucial roles.

The movie has music composed by S. Thaman and the first single from the movie has already been a massive hit with the fans. Released on Valentine’s day, the song titled Kalaavathi already has over 150 million views on YouTube.
