Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Director Parasuram shares how he got the idea for the film with Mahesh Babu

Directed by Parasuram, the action comedy also stars Keerthy Suresh and Samuthirakani

Mahesh Babu’s movies come with a lot of hype and fanfare and this is the case with his upcoming project, Sarkaru Vaari Paata too. Director Parasuram has now revealed his confidence for the movie, ahead of its release.

Talking to Pinkvilla, the director said, “There’s no pressure, in fact I am at leisure. I have got a good script with a weapon named Superstar Mahesh Babu. I have used him properly and he has delivered his best. We are all very happy with the film.”

Talking about how the action entertainer materialised, he told the portal that he got the idea for the story during the post-production stages of his previous release, Geetha Govindam, starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. He added that he was visualising Mahesh Babu for the role as well.

The director further revealed that he visited the superstar after the release of Geetha Govindam and he agreed to do it in a single sitting. The narration consisted of all the emotional and action blocks of the movie and Mahesh Babu responded positively to it.

Touted to be an all out entertainer, the movie will have action, romance, comedy and drama to keep the audience engaged. The movie’s trailer was released on May 2, and it crossed 25 million views on YouTube in record time.

Apart from Babu in the lead, the movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in crucial roles. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus.

With music composed by S. Thaman, the movie has been certified U/A. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is all set to hit theatres on May 12.
