The teaser of Mahesh Babu's next, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, was unveiled at midnight on August 9,
The most awaited day has finally arrived. Fans of Telugu film star Mahesh Babu couldn't have asked for a better treat on his 46th birthday! The teaser of Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata, rightly labelled as 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata Birthday Blaster', was released at midnight on August 9, sending Telugu cinema lovers into a frenzy. The promo presents Mahesh Babu in a ravishing, stylish avatar and capitalises on his raw on-screen energy and spontaneity like no other film of the actor in the recent past. The film is directed by Geetha Govindam-filmmaker Parasuram Petla and stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
Sporting a green tee with tattoo on the neck, wearing a chain with an Om-shaped locket, Mahesh Babu steps out of a high-end red-coloured car with an on-screen composure so unique to him and utters massy punchlines like, 'If a tiger takes a rabbit, how will it be? The same here. If you miss your interest, you'll get your date.' The actor enters into action mode in no time, smashing the goons out of the park before the romantic in him takes over. Keerthy Suresh plays a traditional girl who's in awe of her on-screen love interest and even says, 'sir padukone mundara dishti teeyadam marchipokandi' (don't forget to ward off the evil eye before he sleeps every day).
Mahesh Babu's histrionics and body language are a delight to watch, so are the comical exchanges between him and Vennela Kishore. The makers have managed to cut a teaser that presents Mahesh Babu in a perfect mass entertainment package that audiences have been craving for, for a long time. Parasuram's films, right from Solo to the recent Geetha Govindam, are known for their witty dialogues and the Sarkaru Vaari Paata teaser too hints at a film with many catchy lines. Subbaraju plays an important role in the film that has music by S Thaman.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta, and Gopi Achanta under three banners including Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment Pvt Ltd, and 14 Reels Plus. The film is slated to release on January 13, 2022. The film will lock horns with the multi-starrer, the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, in addition to Prabhas, Pooja Hegde's epic romance Radhe Shyam during the Sankranti season. Each of the films belongs to a different genre, though it's inevitable that all the three will eat into each other's revenue.
