Akash Goparaju, singer Sunitha’s only son, is donning the grease paint for the first time in Sarkaru Naukari, an empowering rural drama, written, directed and shot by Ganganamoni Shekar, best known for helming Panchatantra Kathalu. Legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, under RK Teleshow, is bankrolling the film whose shoot commenced this January. The first look of the film was launched today.
“Unveiling the mesmerizing first look of #SarkaruNaukari - A revolution begins with one man's ambition,” the makers wrote and shared a misty image of Akash riding a cycle in the middle of a village. There’s a first aid kit in the backdrop which bears the text - Pedda rogam, Chinna upayam (Deadly disease, simple solution) The ‘+’ symbol integrated with the title design piques your curiosity.
What connects Akash to a government job and medicine? Sarkaru Naukari makes an impact with the first look poster, promising a rooted rural drama that inspires and entertains. Bhavana Vazhapandal is cast as the female lead in the film. Tanikella Bharani, Surya, Sai Srinivas Vadlamani, Manichandan, Raseshwari Mallapudi, Ramya Ponduri Trinadh play other pivotal roles.
Paruchuri Krishna Rao co-produces the drama for which Kovelamudi Madhavi is the executive producer. Raghavendra Varma is the editor of the film while the background score and the songs are composed by Suresh Bobbili and Sandilya Pisapati respectively. Mango Music has acquired the audio rights. Kasarla Shyam, Pasunoori Ravinder and Sirasri are the lyricists. The release date of the film yet to be announced.
The lead actor of Sarkaru Naukari also has a sibling Shreya and they’re regulars in the social media posts of singer Sunitha. Meanwhile, director-cinematographer Ganganamoni Shekar’s earlier film Panchatantra Kathalu is now streaming on aha. Nandini Rai, Sai Ronak, Nihal Kodhaty, Geetha Bhascker, Noel Sean, Praneeta Patnaik and Ajay Kathurvar were the prominent faces in the film.
