Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham is finally released on Amazon Prime Video. The Shoojit Sircar directorial chronicles the heart-wrenching story of Sardar Udham Singh, who made sure that the world never forgets the Indians who got killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919. After the release of the film, the OTT giant shared another poster and a small dialogue promo video from the film.
The recent official clip sees the actor discussing his strategies against the British government among his fellow mates. He says, “If we strike here, at the heart of London, our message will travel across the world.” Moving on, an unknown background voice says, “Such a wide coverage by the world press has never been done before.” Vicky’s Singh can be seen being overwhelmed by the response he’s getting from the world press in a court of London. Later, the actor gets injured and can be seen captured in a police vehicle. The latest video also glimpses the blink and miss appearance of Banita Sandhu, the leading lady of the film. “Freedom is my birthright and fighting for freedom is no crime," says the lead actor and the footage end on that note.
Prime Video shared the clip on Instagram as well and captioned, “it's time to meet the revolutionary
#SardarUdhamOnPrime, watch now (sic).”
Vicky Kaushal announced the release of the film to his fans and shared the same clip through his Instagram handle and wrote, “He waited for 21 years to avenge his nation. It’s an honour to present a story of a man through the vision of Shoojit Sircar. I’m fortunate to be a part of this journey.
