Sara Ali Khan is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming film, Atrangi Re which is set to be an OTT release. For the promotions, the actor headed to the capital, where she even visited the sets of Karan Johar's Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. During an interaction with IANS, Sara spoke at length about everything Atrangi Re.

Sara is hoping for the same kind of attention from the audience that she did not receive in Love Aaj Kal. She expressed her appreciation to the director of Atrangi Re Aanand L Rai, saying that this opportunity came at the perfect time for her. Sara revealed she was on the sets of Atrangi Re after ten days of Kedarnath.

The actor called it fantastic because people didn't like Love Aaj Kal and she was working for the audience, so there was no point in getting down. Sara added that one has to push themselves and Aanand did that for her.

The actor went on to discuss her role as Rinku and how she related to her character. She shared that they are both self-assured individuals whose self-assurance conceals their inner vulnerability. But Sara said that Rinku and she are not the same in the same way. She revealed that she is not a naturally rebellious person and she is not going to break the bottles or flee 21 times. The Coolie No 1 actor went on to say that her family is extremely supportive and she will never be able to dance at her husband's wedding.

The hardest thing for Sara to learn was the Bihari accent. She revealed that it was far from easy and never an easy task to work on the sets of such films. Sara said it's not just about learning the accent, but one also needs to understand the body language, dialogue, and dialect so well and effortlessly that when they are on set, one can only think about that scene and nothing else.

The actor, who co-stars with Dhanush and Akshay Kumar, stated that working with them is merely a learning experience and that there is no competition. Calling Akshay Kumar a superstar and Dhanush a National Award winner, Sara said there was no competition, only inspiration and learning. On set, however, the actors shared that they were all Aanand's children and characters in his world.

Atrangi Re will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 24, 2021.
