Sara Ali Khan spoke about how other actors are copying her style of doing namaste

Sara Ali Khan is a busy lady as she is promoting two fil ms simultaneously: Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan. During a recent conversation with the Hindustan Times, she had a surprising revelation. Sara said that her fellow actors have been imitating her style of greeting people with a namaste and she is irritated with them copying her. She added that she is happy that the audience knows her style well.

Sara Ali Khan’s irritation about being copied by other actors

Sara found it silly and irritating when other actors copied her way of saying namaste. "It used to bother me when I used to think that I was being copied. Like this whole namaste, it’s not an act. I genuinely greet people like that and suddenly it became a template that every girl was doing,” she said. Later, Sara added that it doesn’t matter much to her now as the audience knows her style and manner of speaking quite well.

Explaining further, she quipped, “This wearing Indian clothes at the airport and going with wet hair and all—it used to irritate me when other girls used to do it. But I realised that my darkshaks (audience) know it’s me. It’s fine; now it doesn’t bother me anymore.” In fact, now she gets amused when anyone copies her mannerisms and tells them, “Accha theek hai been, kar le (Its okay, you do it too),” as the audieces themselves point out the similarity.
