Heading back to Mumbai after spending her winter holidays in London, the Atrangi Re actor says ‘coming back home is a task’
Known for her ‘knock knock’ jokes as much as her acting prowess, Bollywood starlet Sara Ali Khan never fails to entertain her fans with her spontaneity and chirpiness. She is currently working on a slew of projects - Metro In Dino (opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, Luka Chuppi (with Vicky Kaushal) and Gaslight (alongside Vikrant Massey) among other films. That said, Sara is also someone who is always out and about with her friends and family. A quick look at her social media feed will tell you that the Atrangi Re actor is either globetrotting or gobbling down her favourite food, or serving up some fitness inspo from the gym. After spending the holiday season in the UK, Sara is currently on the way home, and she seems to be coming back with a lot of luggage!
Taking to her Instagram stories, Sara posted a picture of herself standing next to the trunk of a car full of suitcases and bags, geotagging London. “Coming back home is usually a task,” she wrote, adding, “Homebound.” Quite the traveller, isn’t it. Clearly, she doesn’t believe in the concept of ‘travelling light’. But isn’t that also every girl’s story? Often seen holidaying with her mother Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara also seems to enjoy family time a lot.
Among the notable films that the actor will be seen in the near future is Amazon original Ae Watan Mere Watan. The Kannan Iyer directorial is inspired by true events. Dubbed a thriller drama, the narrative follows the life of freedom fighter and Gandhian Usha Mehta, who is said to be the brains behind the ‘Congress Radio’ - an underground radio station that operated during the Quit India Movement of 1942. The script is written by Darab Farooqui. The project is also supported by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Among her other upcoming films is Nakhrewali where she'll be seen opposite Sunny Kaushal.
