There is a lot of praise coming for the core team, most notably music director Charan Raj, whose music is the absolute highlight of this intense love story
Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is a story that Kannada filmmaker Hemanth M Rao has been carrying with him for many years. He’d first written it more than a decade ago, soon after he’d assisted on (late) Puneeth Rajkumar’s Prithvi. In fact, Hemanth was hopeful of making the film with Puneeth in the lead. But for reasons best known to Hemanth, he didn’t get around to making the film until 2020, when he began filming it with the actor that he loves the most – Rakshit Shetty. Produced by Rakshit, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is being presented in two parts – Side A and Side B – the first of which is in theatres today. Hemanth and Rakshit were so confident in the quality of the content they had that they opened the film with multiple paid premieres last night.
The responses from those paid premieres is proof that there’s an audience out there that appreciates a good heart-touching love story. The film is being called a ‘classic’ and ‘masterpiece’, with audiences specifically calling out the chemistry between Rakshit and Rukmini Vasanth, Hemanth’s writing, Advaitha Gurumurthy’s beautiful cinematography and, of course, music man Charan Raj’s wizardry with the film’s songs and background score. Many have gone on to say that Charan is the true hero of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello.

There is a lot of praise coming the lead pair’s way too, with audiences declaring in unison that Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is one of Rakshit’s best performances - one that will haunt them for a while, while Rukmini is cuteness overloaded. Together, Rakshit and Rukmini are being called the best onscreen couple. Interestingly, amid the sea of good responses for the film, none of them have spoilers that may put a dampener in the plans of the next set of audiences.
