Sapta Sagaradaache Ello title track: Charan Raj & co. weave a beautiful, fusion-heavy yarn

The combination of Hemanth M Rao and composer Charan Raj never fails to evoke excitement among Kannada moviegoers, but one senses a new kind of zest and curiosity among them with respect to Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. Of course, the inclusion of Rakshit Shetty in the mix makes all the difference but beyond that, the anticipation seems to largely emerge from the fact that Hemanth has promised his upcoming two-part film to be nothing short of a musical journey .

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello's first part, or Side A, will boast six songs of varied genres, says Hemanth Rao, and the first single titled Horaata certainly carried everyone by a pleasant surprise. The rap treatment infused in the song has earned good praise already, meaning that the rest of the soundtrack will have to live up to the hype it has generated.

And fortunately, the second single or the title track of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is here to reassure that, indeed, there's lots to savour as far as the film's music is concerned. Showcasing his versatility once again, Charan Raj imbues the song with a soothing fusion that comprises a synth and bass-heavy palette (reminiscent of a particular 1980s sound) laced with melodic carnatic music. Charan uses the Veena (played by Punya Srinivas) to great effect so as to bring the two distinctly diverse genres together.

The song's highlight, though, is Kapil Kapilan's dynamic vocals as the singer heavy-lifts the song with his super impressive vocal range. Both the composition and Kapil's perfect enunciation bring out the essence of Dhananjay Ranjan's lyrics, which weave a beautiful yarn.

Along with the music, team Sapta Sagaradaache Ello has also treated listeners to a few visuals from the film. Rakshit Shetty's character Manu, we learn, works at a textile mill of some kind, with the same visuals revealing him weaving yarn and also finding solace in it. The other few stills offer a peek into the life of Manu and Rukmini Vasanth's Priya and their tender yet emotionally charged love story .

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A will arrive in cinemas on September 1 and Side B on October 20. Side B will also have Chaithra J. Achar as part of its principal cast.
