Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A arrived in theatres on September 1 on the back of a lot of promise as audiences expected the Hemanth M Rao and Rakshit Shetty combination to work well again at the box office. The duo, of course, first collaborated 7 years ago on Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu which, despite being an offbeat film, so to speak, yielded good results at the box office.

The all-India numbers are yet to be disclosed by trusted sources but the nett collections are said to be around Rs. 5 crores regardless.

Alongside, the film also has to deal with the competition posed by the Telugu release Kushi, which boasts two of the Telugu Film Industry's most popular actors, Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. As a result, Kushi has a much wider release across South India to its name and is extremely well-equipped to deliver good results at the box office despite the mixed reviews it has received.
