What's working in team Sapta Sagaradaache Ello's favour though is that the film has opened to almost unanimously positive reviews from all corners.
Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A arrived in theatres on September 1 on the back of a lot of promise as audiences expected the Hemanth M Rao and Rakshit Shetty combination to work well again at the box office. The duo, of course, first collaborated 7 years ago on Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu which, despite being an offbeat film, so to speak, yielded good results at the box office.
As far as Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is concerned, both Rakshit and Hemanth have stated on multiple occasions that although their film isn't the usual conventional commercial outing, it still has the capacity to draw all kinds of audiences to the cinema halls. And turns out, the film is doing just that.

What's working in team Sapta Sagaradaache Ello's favour though is that the film has opened to almost unanimously positive reviews from all corners. Critics, too, have heaped praise on Hemanth M Rao's vision and also Charan Raj's music, Advaitha Gurumurthy's cinematography and all the central performances. As a result, the film has seen a gradual yet consistent improvement in its box office performance.

Though these numbers might not seem all that impressive at first glance, one must remember that Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A, despite the presence of an actor like Rakshit Shetty, has a largely limited release outside Karnataka. Alongside, the film also has to deal with the competition posed by the Telugu release Kushi, which boasts two of the Telugu Film Industry's most popular actors, Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. As a result, Kushi has a much wider release across South India to its name and is extremely well-equipped to deliver good results at the box office despite the mixed reviews it has received.
