At OTTplay, we were the first to report that producer Dil Raju decided to proceed with the theatrical release without initially locking an OTT partner. Given the high buzz, he strategically delayed the sale of digital rights to secure a better deal.

We have now learned that Dil Raju has finalized the OTT rights, with ZEE5 acquiring them for a substantial price. A source close to the production reveals that Dil Raju has struck a solid deal, placing the film in the profit zone even before its theatrical release.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT patform deal update

With this OTT agreement, Sankranthiki Vasthunam will be released with table profits, ensuring that whatever the film earns in theaters will add to the makers' profits. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles.

As the festive season approaches, family audiences are eagerly anticipating this clean family drama. Bookings have begun, and the rapid ticket sales have surprised everyone. The film is expected to be Venkatesh’s biggest opener to date, thanks in part to its chart-topping songs.
