Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is a blockbuster hit, and its collections have left the trade analysts stunned. With each passing day, the Venkatesh starrer continues to create new records at the box office. On its sixth day of release, the Anil Ravipudi-directed film earned a massive Rs. 20 crore worldwide.

It is worth noting that Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has only been released in Telugu, and these figures are astonishing. The sixth-day collections surpassed those of days 3, 4, and 5. Being a Sunday, the film created a sensation as family audiences flocked to theaters in large numbers.

With this, the movie has crossed the magical Rs. 100 crore net mark, accumulating Rs. 113 crore to date. By the looks of it, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is well on its way to hitting the Rs. 200 crore mark by the end of its theatrical run.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam creates a new record in Telugu states

Producer Dil Raju expressed his amazement, stating that he is unable to comprehend the box office numbers as they keep rising with each passing day. Not a single day has passed where the film's collections in Telugu states dropped below Rs. 15 crore, underscoring the magnitude of its success.

Anil Ravipudi deserves much of the credit for the film’s success, as his ability to deliver high-quality entertainment has impressed audiences universally. However, with the Sankranthi holidays now over, the real test for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam begins on Monday. If it holds steady, the film is poised to generate even more substantial numbers in the days ahead.

Zee5 has acquired the film's digital streaming rights for a hefty price and is planning to stream it in the third week of February 2025. The music by Bheems Ceciroleo has also been a major contributor to the film's success, with the songs providing a strong boost to its box office performance.
