Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals this actor can do Tamil version of Animal

Animal, the 2023 Hindi film starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, might have invited mixed reviews, but ruled the box office and proved to be a commercially successful film. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and others.
In a recent awards function held in Chennai and attended by Sandeep, the director was asked who in Tamil would be an appropriate actor if a Tamil version of the film is to be made. To know what the director said, read further.
Sandeep Vanga’s Tamil choice for Animal
Sandeep Reddy Vanga had shot to fame with his film Arjun Reddy. While the film was called out for toxic masculinity, the director had gone one step further and made Animal, which received outrageous and polarising reviews. While the film was hailed by many, it was also criticised for showing violence and passing misogynistic narrative through the film.
When the director was recently in Chennai to attend an awards function, he was asked which Tamil actor would be best suited for Ranbir’s role in the film. To this, Sandeep said Suriya, which was met with crowds cheering.

Sandeep Reddy’s next is Spirit
The director is next set to join forces with actor Prabhas for a film titled Spirit. While the filmmaker is currently working on the script, all that we know is that the actor will be donning the khaki uniform and will be playing the role of an honest cop. The makers are yet to announce the details on the cast and crew of the upcoming project.
Sandeep also revealed in an interview that the budget for Spirit is more than Rs 300 crore and the one thing he aims to achieve is that the producer should always get back his money. Spirit is touted to be an action-adventure film, and is backed by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series production banner.
