Ramam Raghavam marks the directorial debut of Telugu actor and comedian Dhanraj Koranani
Samuthirakani and Telugu actor Dhanraj Koranani are all set to join forces for an upcoming bilingual film, which has been titled Ramam Raghavam. The film, which is simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu, marks the directorial debut of Dhanraj. The new poster showcases Samuthirakani and Dhanraj in an intense look, hinting at a serious family drama. The duo is set to essay the roles of father and son in the film, which also has Moksha, Harish Uttaman, Prudhvi, Ajay Ghosh, Pramodini, Lavanya Reddy, Chitram Sreenu, and Rocket Raghava as other supporting cast.
Tamil actor Vishal took to his social media handles to unveil the new poster and conveyed his best wishes to his ‘Kani annae’. The actor wrote, “Wishing Kani annae as always the best of the best in his career. With the blessings of Lord Rama, releasing the 1st look & title of Bilingual Slate Pencil Stories – RAMAM RAGAVAM”.

Samuthirakani and Dhanraj had previously shared screen space in 2023 film Vimanam, which was directed by Siva Prasad Yanala. Interestingly, Shiv Prasad has written the screenplay for Dhanraj's directorial debut Ramam Raghavam.
The upcoming film is set to explore the heartfelt relationship between the father and son in a never-heard-before storyline. Arun Chiluveru has composed the music for the film, with camera work handled by Durga Prasad and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The upcoming drama is presented by Prabhakar Aripaka. The film is produced by Prudhvi Polavarapu of Slate Pencil Stories.

The National-award winning Tamil actor will be seen in two of the biggest releases of director Shankar. The Visaranai actor will share screen space with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in the most-awaited sequel Indian 2. He will also be seen in Shankar and Ram Charan’s political action thriller Game Changer. Apart from the big releases, the Tamil actor was last seen in blockbuster Telugu superhero film HanuMan.
