Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue from Jawan, "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar," is a jab at former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede?,, ,
On Thursday, August 31, exactly one week before the movie's scheduled release on September 7, the makers of Jawan released the massy trailer of the film. The last few seconds of the trailer feature a line from Shah Rukh Khan's character, "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar", which went viral in no time. Fans immediately assumed the dialogue was directed at former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede, who is under investigation for allegedly accepting bribes totaling Rs 25 crore in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case involving SRK's son Aryan Khan. The NCB last year gave Aryan a clean chit.
Netizens started comparing the remark to the Aryan Khan case shortly after the dialogue from the movie went popular on the internet, making comparisons between SRK's fictional world and the real one.
Here's whar Sameer Wankhede wrote
The ex-NCB officer recently posted a cryptic Nicole Lyons statement to his official social media account. “I have licked the fire and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you," Sameer Wankhede wrote. Now, internet users are wondering if this is Wankhede's retort to Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue from the Jawan trailer.
About Aryan Khan drug case
