Samantha Akkineni has been rocking social media with a multitude of pictures donning various attires. Her recent post on social media with her makeup artist and stylist Sadhana Singh and Preetham Jukalker is gathering a lot of eyeballs where she effortlessly pulled off her denim jacket look, looking worn out from filming back-to-back movies.
After wrapping up her shoot of the upcoming movie Shaakunthalam she flew to Chennai for filming the second schedule of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Her caption suggests that she yearns for a tropical vacation that involves the sea, the sun and a swimsuit, but has to keep it on hold for now.
Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is an upcoming movie that is excitedly awaited by everyone for its release. The upcoming love triangle rom-com stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Vignesh Shivan and is co-produced by the director and Nayanthara under the banner of Rowdy Pictures.
The movie’s soundtrack is an Anirudh Ravichandar musical. A single from the movie, Rendu Kaadhal was released on Valentine’s Day, which was soulfully crooned by the music director, Shakthisree Gopalan and Aishwarya Suresh Bindra.

When the movie was announced the previous year, Sam took to social media to express her appreciation and gratitude to the team of the upcoming movie by saying, “I’ve always wanted to work with the fierce #Nayantara and the mighty @actorvijaysethupathi .. so I can’t tell you how much of a ball I am having working with the both of them together #kaathuvaakularendukaadhal.”
Vijay Sethupathi currently has a multitude of movies under his belt that he is currently filming and awaiting its releases like Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, Tughlaq Durbar and Viduthalai.
Nayanthara will be starring in the upcoming movie of superstar Rajinikanth’s Annatthe and is filming for a yet-to-be-titled movie by GS Viknesh.
