Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, is gaining more and more popularity by word of mouth.
Now, that the excitement around Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal has subsided, people are growing more receptive to Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur and the movie is gaining a consistent number of viewers.
The film Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar and based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, has been gaining traction at the international box office. Now, the Vicky Kaushal movie has achieved the coveted ₹100 crore global milestone.
Sam Bahadur may have entered ₹100 crore worldwide, but it is to be noted that, Animal, a crime drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has taken in ₹835.9 crore worldwide in the same period. Of the two movies that were released that day, it is unquestionably the best.
According to Sacnilk's most recent statistics, Sam Bahadur made ₹76 crore in India in just 17 days. The good news is that there hasn't been a new release, thus whispers about Sam Bahadur are growing much more strongly. If a new movie had come out this week, the audience would have been distracted, but since they already know about the movie, they are stepping in now.
In fact, Sam Bahadur would have been able to get ₹120–130 crore if the competition in the upcoming weeks had not been as fierce as it was for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki and Prabhas-starrer Salaar.
