One feeling that Vicky Kaushal and Virat Kohli share mutually is the feeling of patriotism. Today, both celebrities are cheering for India in the public sphere. While Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team are playing a match against the South African cricket team at the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Vicky Kaushal is virtually present at a commentary box at Eden Gardens, rooting for India.
Vicky Kaushal spotted in style
This afternoon, Vicky Kaushal cheered for Team India with full ‘josh’.
He also wished Indian cricketer Virat Kohli from the box. Vicky said: “First and foremost, I extend special birthday wishes, from this VK (Vicky Kaushal) to our superstar VK (Virat Kohli). It is a very happy and special occasion since it is an India vs South Africa match on his birthday. It becomes doubly special because of this ground, too.”
“Virat Kohli has played some spectacular innings at Eden Gardens, so I am really looking forward to this match,” he added.
For the day, Vicky was dressed in a black shirt and pants. He aced his looks with his infectious smile.

Interestingly, Vicky Kaushal and Virat Kohli are each other’s neighbours as well. On the personal front, Vicky is married to actress Katrina Kaif and Virat is married to actress Anushka Sharma. Katrina and Anushka are best friends.
Before the match, Vicky also said that he loves watching Rohit Sharma play on the field. He said, “I am a big fan of Rohit Sharma. The way he has batted in this tournament, I have really enjoyed that.”
On the professional front, Vicky is looking forward to his movie, Sam Bahadur, hitting the theatres. Vicky also has a special cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Dunki.
