Theatres in India today are witnessing one of the biggest clashes in the past few years. Both Animal and Sam Bahadur hit the big screens today after what looked like a century-long run-up with promotions and productions. Vicky Kaushal starrer has a lot of emotions attached to it as the movie tells the story of one of India’s most charismatic men, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. While the movie is now garnering reviews from all corners, it has gotten a thumbs up from Manekshaw’s daughter who couldn’t hold back her tears.

Sam Manekshaw’s daughter Maya has already seen Sam Bahadur twice. In a recent interaction at a screening as per India Today, she poured her heart out while sharing her review and was teary-eyed while expressing herself. Maya acknowledged the last frame of the movie and revealed how it leaves her awestruck every single time. Vicky Kaushal plays the part of Sam Manekshaw, Maya’s father.

Maya in the interaction said, “They have made the film to make the country proud of whatever it was. But, the time that I tear up, every time, I’ve seen the film twice now and I teared up both times, is the last two seconds of the film when you turn to the audience and you’re smiling. That just kills me every time.”

Meanwhile, Sam Bahadur is clashing with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and Vicky has already expressed his opinion on the clash. As per Indian Express he said, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other, they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema."
