Salman Khan's Wanted 2 to be made? Boney Kapoor shares an update

Wanted is one of the most successful films of Salman Khan. The actor was a part of the 2009 film with Ayesha Takia. Directed by Prabhudeva, the movie also featured Mahesh Manjrekar, Prakash Raj and the late Vinod Khanna. Needless to say, fans have been eagerly waiting to know about Wanted's sequel. Producer Boney Kapoor has an update to share. The producer revealed the last conversation he had with Salman Khan regarding Wanted 2.
Salman Khan's Wanted 2 update by Boney Kapoor
In an interview with News18, Boney Kapoor revealed that he had a word about Wanted 2 with Salman Khan. However, the producer doesn't know when things will materialise. "He has committed to me that he’ll do it whenever I decide, whenever I get the right script," said Boney. The producer added it was his last conversation with Salman on Wanted 2 when he also informed him about No Entry's sequel with a new cast.
Kapoor added that Salman readily agreed to be a part of Wanted 2 when he spoke about the sequel. "I have an idea, I will develop it. So, one day that will happen. I hope it happens sooner than later," he added.

Who played what in Prabhudeva's Wanted?
For those who are unaware, Salman Khan played the role of IPS Rajveer Shekhawat aka Radhe in the film. As far as Ayesha Takia is concerned, the actress was seen as Jahnvi Verma. Prakash Raj essayed the character of Shamsuddin Ashgar Gani Bhai while Mahesh Manjrekar played SI Daulat R. Talpade. (Late) Vinod Khanna portrayed the role of Shrikant Shekhawat.
Salman Khan's upcoming projects
Talking about his upcoming films, Salman Khan has a couple of projects lined up. The superstar will next be seen in filmmaker AR Murugadoss' film, which is scheduled for an Eid 2025 release. Khan had recently made an official announcement about the same. Other than that, the superstar is still a part of Vishnuvardhan's The Bull, which Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has backed.
